Right, a brief over view of what is going on.......All this is, is a blog of my passions - so pool and poker - just keeping a track of whats going wrong or hopefully whats going right in the world of the Shooter!

To Start:
26th June, Singles League vs Josh Craze.
Hmmmm all i can say in bastard!! haha, for those that dont know Josh is a 15year old Welsh Youth International of 6 years experience and a different class. He has won the singles league last two years only losing two games in total - one to me 8-3!!
Josh brought it tonight, he had 3 break and dishes and 2 dishes of my break, NIGHTMARE. So out of the 6 "contested" frames of the night i won 3 and in hindsight i made some silly mistakes......but it definatly felt better gettin my ears fixed......hmmmm

Also played my outstanding match vs Gary Francis tonight - another loss, great. A scrappy match in which the favourite in each frame seemed to lose their way. Gary is a great player, finsihed 2nd last year but this is one match i feel i could have won, i did have the chances.

So after 5 matches in the singles league i am looking pretty bleak in midtable, hopefully not another shit year like i had last year.

Results so far -

Won 8-3 vs Matt Burton
Lost 7-4 vs Neil Rogers
Won 8-3 vs Andy Crawford
Lost 8-3 vs Josh Craze
Lost 7-4 vs Gary Francis.

Got 4 matches in the first half left, Stu Fletch/Chris Newman/Jon Meadows/Al Mavity so really need, want and expect four wins there - but sadly the enjoyment has gone.

Time to spend my 9ball Champion bar tab from 2 weeks ago!
